Primary cutaneous CD30+T cell lymphoma: A case report
Primary cutaneous CD30+ T cell lymphoma is rare lymphoma originally in and confined to the skin. These lymphomas usually present as a large solitary and often ulcerated nodule. Its prognosis is a good and has a good response to radiotherapy. We report a 34- year- old man who had primary cutaneous CD30+T cell lymphoma on his face, which presented as an ulcerated nodule.
متن کاملHISTIOCYTE-RICH B-CELL LYMPHOMA: A CASE REPORT OF A RARE VARIANT OF DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA
The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...
متن کاملComplete remission of refractory, ulcerated, primary cutaneous CD30+ anaplastic large cell lymphoma following brentuximab vedotin therapy.
Primary cutaneous CD30 + anaplastic large cell lympho-mas (pc-ALCL) belong to the group of rare, non-mycosis fungoides T-cell lymphomas (1). Similar to lymphomatoid papulosis the characteristic immunohistochemical finding of pc-ALCL is CD30-positivity of infiltrating neoplastic T cells. To date, only limited data is available on the treatment of pc-ALCL and current recommendations are largely b...
متن کاملRegressing anaplastic CD30-positive large-cell lymphoma of the skin.
Originally believed to be of histiocytic origin, regressing primary cutaneous anaplastic large-cell lymphoma is a CD30 (Ki 1) positive T-cell lymphoma with histologic high grade malignancy, but with an often favorable clinical course with regression of individual lesions. We present a case of a 69-year-old white woman with an 8-month history of noduloulcerative lesions on her right lower leg, o...
متن کاملLack of the t(2;5) or other mutations resulting in expression of anaplastic lymphoma kinase catalytic domain in CD30+ primary cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders and Hodgkin's disease.
The t(2;5) (p23;q35) chromosomal translocation has been found in a high proportion of lymph node-based CD30+ large cell lymphomas of T-cell lineage. This translocation is believed to result in the expression of a fusion protein containing the catalytic domain of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) under the control of the promoter for nucleophosmin, a nucleolar phosphoprotein. Expression of ALK ac...
متن کاملPrimary cutaneous anaplastic large-cell lymphoma - Case report*
Primary cutaneous anaplastic large-cell lymphoma is part of the spectrum of CD30+ lymphoproliferative cutaneous processes, characterized by single or multifocal nodules that ulcerate, are autoregressive and recurrent. Extracutaneous dissemination may occur, especially to regional lymph nodes. Histology shows a diffuse, non-epidermotropic infiltrate , anaplastic large lymphoid cells of immunohis...
